Molybdenum 500 by Seeking Health provides 500 mcg of molybdenum (as molybdenum glycinate chelate) in each easy-to-swallow vegetarian capsule. Molybdenum is an essential trace mineral. In the human body, molybdenum is found in the bones, liver, and kidneys. Molybdenum plays a role in a number of important bio-chemical processes, like waste processing in the kidneys, development of the nervous system, and the activation of enzymes that are involved in breaking down food to produce energy.* Molybdenum may also help support normal metabolism of fats and carbohydrates.* It is necessary for maintain normal iron levels and utilization in the body due to its involvement in the enzymatic process that mobilizes iron form the liver reserves.*
